Dr. Strickland is the founder and CEO of Nexus Clinical Solutions and the Center for Postconcussion Syndrome and PTSD Treatment. He is a board-certified neuropsychologist and a retired associate clinical professor of neurology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Strickland completed undergraduate school at the California State University at Los Angeles. He received his master’s of science and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology (Behavioral Medicine) from the University of Georgia, and he completed a postdoctoral residency at the prestigious David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in clinical neuropsychology under the mentorships of Dr. Paul Satz and Dr. Jeffrey Cummings. Dr. Strickland also completed a postdoctoral clinical fellowship in psychopharmacology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He established the Center for Postconcussion Syndrome and PTSD Treatment to provide state-of-the-art treatment and prevention services to address the comprehensive concussion care needs of athletes, military populations, and other individuals across the lifespan. At Nexus Triage, he provides specialized neurobehavioral technology solutions to evaluate people with brain injuries, vestibular/balance disorders, as well as memory and learning disorders. He managed the largest retired NFL clinical evaluation and treatment programs in the nation secondary to the billion-dollar concussion settlement. Dr. Strickland oversees corporate strategy and works with the Nexus and Center for PCS and PTSD Treatment management teams to optimize key partnerships and initiatives. Dr. Strickland has built and managed corporate brands. He has extensive experience within healthcare, informatics, product development, and has led multi-disciplinary teams. He has managed P&Ls, demonstrated exquisite entrepreneurial drive, and has experience in merging and integrating companies and/or business units.
